Yes, it is true what they say.. couples who hand stand together, stay together. That is what they say, right? The best man even began his heart-felt speech with the fun fact that Megan and E. J. love doing, you guessed it, hand stands together. Then the newlyweds proved it when they asked ever so sweetly if we can take a photo of E. J. in action (see below!). Throughout their special day it was easy to see that it wasn’t just the acrobatics keeping this couple together. We could tell how much the family and friends who surrounded Megan and E. J. love and support them. E. J.’s great uncle performed the most beautiful marriage ceremony, and they had the most expert flower girl with them every step of the way. We also got to celebrate their love at a venue we have never been to before, and it was incredibly gorgeous!! YAY! The Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake in Reeders, PA is filled with breath-taking backdrops, huge windows overlooking lush greenery, and plenty of space for… handstands. It may have been the hottest day of the year, but that didn’t stop Charlene and Jon from having the most amazing day ever. When the day starts off with a Risky Business-esque dance party, you know it’s going to be an epic one. We’ve learned very quickly that you could plan and plan and plan and plan, but when it comes time for the big day, Mother Nature will not care about how much you’ve planned. Jessyca and Chad celebrated their wedding day; ceremony, reception, and all; at Irem Temple’s Pavilion. Yes, this means outside. That morning the clouds opened up and the wind howled while everyone was getting ready for the day. That’s when we realized that we were going to have to improvise for Jessyca and Chad’s first look.. that we all intended on doing outside. So we cleared a small, covered section that we thought would work out just perfectly, and we ran to get the bride and groom. As soon as we got back to our perfect, little clearing the wind decided to change direction as we dodged guests running with furniture to save it from getting soaked. Jessyca, being the easy-going trooper she is, decided to skip their first look and move straight to the ceremony. Cue the music, and commence the procession! ..and the sun came just in time for the ceremony.. of course.. The rest of the day went on beautifully. We got to enjoy some bright, sunny photos out on the golf course green, and then everyone danced the night away. Be sure to check out the amazing post-rain sky we were graced with into the evening. Weddings like this just go to show that no matter what curve balls the weather throws you, love always shines through.

You know what ski resorts are good for in the summer? WEDDINGS!! Bear Creek Resort is beautiful during its summer season, but Jessica and Sean definitely ‘took the cake’ for best dressed.
