The First Look. Since I’m not in the field with the rest of the crew, I don’t experience weddings “in the moment.” Instead, I rely on what they captured to walk me through what each day was like, and nothing quite translates the love and emotion each wedding brings than First Look photos and videos. It’s such an intimate and personal moment that gets to live on forever, and as someone who is admittedly very sentimental, I can’t imagine anything cooler than that.

I went to school in York, PA and majored in Mass Communications. I spent my time focusing on video production and started my own company several months after graduating. I joined KJAD at the start of the 2018 season and now lead the video department. I love joking around with the KJAD crew and working with our incredible clients.

Is the formals section of the day with just the bride and groom. As the lead videographer and video editor, this part of the day is always the most crucial part to get dynamic, stunning footage of the couple.
Is my trusty Sony A7siii with my Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L series lens. These things are true workhorses that make for the perfect combo. And for any gear nerds out there, who doesn’t love 4k@120fps, 4:2:2, 10 bit internal recording, amirite?

I went to Wilkes University and studied integrative media, which was a mix of design, photo, video, etc. I worked as a designer before meeting Steve through a mutual friend, and the rest is history! The part between the ceremony and the reception. It may be a break in the day for your guests, but we are running all over the place! This part of the day can be pretty challenging, but we get to be super creative with the couple and wedding party.
My 70-200mm Lens - I feel like I can be pretty versatile with this lens. You can really create layers of depth with it. It’s great for portraits, close ups, and making dreamy backgrounds. However, with its range, I can also be very creative from a distance, capturing a candid image without ruining the moment.

My favorite part of a wedding is the couple's photo session after the ceremony. I think it is one of the most creative parts of the day and I always love the way it looks on camera. I also love watching the new married couple interact with each other during these moments.

I graduated from Bucknell University where I played Division I water polo and majored in Civil Engineering. After graduation, I moved to Scranton and started working as a bridge designer before transitioning to a sales role. Over the last few years I've trained in pole dancing and opened my own studio, began freelance writing and editing, and became a wedding planner and coordinator with KJAD!
