“Do you remember when we were strangers…?”
Rebecca and Phil celebrated their beautiful traditional wedding at The Radisson in Scranton, PA in December of 2022. Their ceremony, where Rebecca posed the question above, took place in the Radisson’s Lobby in front of a floral-clad Hexagon. This was also the design theme of their wedding, in homage to Phil’s love of Organic Chemistry. Phil noted in his vows the importance of the hexagonal molecule Benzene for its stability, “as its component parts come together in a favorable way…in the right orientation, in the right space, and with the right energy” and how it represents his loving relationship with Rebecca.
As the evening turned to night, loving moments, heartfelt speeches, and support from their friends and family set the tone for the reception.
We won’t reveal too much more, but we’ll leave you with the second part of Rebecca’s question.
“…but I’m also asking you to remember so much more; the complete montage of our relationship.”
-Rebecca
Then scroll through for a montage of their Wedding Day, from Wedding Photos to their Wedding Film (grab the tissues before you hit play), both of which we are so honored to have had the opportunity to capture.

Looking back on a winter that brought more frigid, chilly temperatures than whiteout snowy days, we thought it might be good to offer advice and ideas on how to turn unpredictable Pennsylvania weather into long lasting memories.
Pick A Few Possible Dates… Pencil in 2-3 dates to anticipate schedule changes. Of course we will do our best to make the primary date work, but set aside another day or two backup days in case of heavy snow or blistering temperatures.
Dress Warm… We know, we know, it sounds like an obvious one, but hear us out. You won’t want your entire photo gallery to feature winter coats, and if we’re outdoors the shivers can hit quick. So, sweaters, flannels, long sleeves are all good for when we ditch the jackets. Don’t worry though, we’ll get everything set and ready to go, then bring you into the frame so you’re not bearing the cold for too long. We do our thing, but also do what we can to keep you as comfortable as we can.
Location, Location, Location… City strolls, nature walks, holiday lights, or warm and comfy in-home sessions are things to consider! Think of what best fits you as a couple and choose from there. You can see a few examples of places we photographed some awesome couples this past winter. =]

The KJAD Crew ventured to Shannon and Greg’s neck of the woods for the couple’s engagement session. We fell in love with all of the bricks and architecture in Downtown Lancaster. Shannon and Greg are such a fun-loving, adorable couple. We cannot wait for their wedding!

Counting down to the New Year is always filled with so much energy and excitement. Counting down to the New Year at a wedding multiplies that excitement times a million. Counting down to the New Year at Mariah and Ryan’s classy winter wedding put that excitement through the roof! Woo! Unlike the couple’s sunny, snowy engagement session, there was no white stuff on the ground for their big day. There was, however, the chilliest rain that helped us capture some incredible shots of the newlyweds outside of Scranton Prep, the high school where they first met! Oh!.. Let’s not forget about the coolest celebrity appearance.. Dillon got to play the most important role of Dog of Honor!! We hope you enjoy this look into Mariah and Ryan’s best day ever!! Congrats to the newlyweds!!!

Caila and Robert are getting married!! YAY! The couple invited us up to their neck of the woods to spend the day in Central Park for their engagement session. We made a quick pitstop at Lincoln Center before exploring all of the gorgeous nooks and crannies that the park has to offer, including the iconic Tavern on the Green. Sarah, Peter, The Radisson Lackawanna Station, and all of the feels. There wasn’t a face not beaming, laughing, or crying at the start of Sarah and Peter’s ceremony that was officiated by Sarah’s own uncle. We love seeing family members perform wedding ceremonies; it always makes for such a personalized and special wedding. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into their big day!!

First Wedding of 2018!! Fireworks and applause and magic and, and everything awesome in the world combined into one! Woo! We get really excited to start off a new wedding season, especially with a home court advantage! We got to spend the whole day with Casey and Matt at The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, and thank goodness because it rained.. a lot! You know what they say.. and we could definitely tell how lucky they felt to have each other in their lives. Casey and Matt’s first look was one of the sweetest that we’ve ever had the pleasure of sharing with newlyweds to be. We love first looks so much because it’s a quiet, exciting moment for the bride and groom to just slow down and be alone with each other in the midst of such a huge day. It’s one of those extra special memories that they’ll always have to look back on and smile.. and maybe even shed a tear of joy. Let’s just say it got a little emotional… yay, Matt!!
We hope you enjoy a look into their special day as much as we loved being a part of it.
