It’s been said that you can see a bride glow on her wedding day. Maybe the glow comes from all of the excitement, perhaps the wedding rings, or possibly a beautiful bouquet. However, most people think it comes when the bride puts on her perfect wedding dress. Ashleigh and her dress by Hayley Paige were such a perfect match that they both made each other glow. There was one greater match on July 7th though, and that match is, of course,  Ashleigh and John. They had the most gorgeous of wedding days at Friedman Farms in Dallas, PA. From the sweetest father-daughter dance to the sweetest cupcake display by The Sweet Lush Cupcakery (like always), we had such a blast celebrating the newlyweds!! Congrats, Ashleigh and John!

And the Two Shall Become One… The ecstatic newlyweds, Jenelle and Michael, had such a magical wedding day. They first met each other while doing theater (#bowstovows), so their day was filled with picturesque landscapes, close friends with beautiful singing voices, and the biggest smiles ever. Our smiles were stretched from ear to ear, too, especially after their first look. When Jenelle tip toed up and tapped Michael on the back, she literally knocked the air out of him. It melted our hearts! Then, as if they weren’t already as close as they could possibly be after tying the knot, they got tangled up in all of the streamers that their guests popped at them during their recessional which made us melt even more. We hope you feel the same after a glimpse into their day.

KJAD wedding road trip!! Yay! This time we got to head a bit south to celebrate Lauren and Eric’s big day at The Phoenixville Foundry outside of Philadelphia. Finally! We’ve been waiting to shoot a wedding here ever since attending the workshop offered by The Hoffshop at The Foundry. What an amazing venue! Thanks, Lauren and Eric!!  We were especially excited for their big day after being a part of their summer engagement shoot last year in Hoboken, New Jersey. What’s better than kissing your sweetheart at midnight on New Year’s Eve? Kissing as newlyweds on New Year’s Eve! Kaitlin & Mike celebrated their new marriage by ringing in a whole new year surrounded by friends and family; friends and family who were ready to par-tay (please refer to Mom below). There’s just something about the chilly holiday air that exudes romance so we can see why Kaitlin & Mike chose New Year’s Eve as their wedding day. If you know KJAD then you know we love our Chuck Taylors. If you know Brooke and Kevin, then you’ll know that so do they, and that makes us incredibly happy. Aside from having the coolest shoes ever, they also had one of the coolest weddings. Brooke and Kevin decided to have a self uniting ceremony, which allows them in the state of Pennsylvania to officiate their own wedding. It was sweet, funny, super heartfelt, and totally them… oh and believe it or not, they had Mario Cart at the reception just in case you needed your 32-bit fix.
