These two families really (- cue California Love by 2Pac) know how to party. Kelly and Alex tore it up with their friends and family at the Raddison Lackawanna Station Hotel. They began their day with prep and a ceremony at the station, left for a bit for photos with us and Izzie, their adorable pup, at Lake Scranton, and then returned to get the party started back at the station. Their reception had two killer speeches by not one, and not two, but three bridesmaids and three groomsmen. Total team effort. The ladies killed it and the fellas sealed the deal. The Heartbeats band kicked it up a notch and kept everyone on the dance floor for the remainder of the night. (“in the city, the city of Scranton” … ok ok, i’m done) – enjoy!

Remember those awesome engagement photos at Wyoming Valley Airport…well Elena and Jonathon are back! Elena and her ladies started their day off with hair and makeup at Sapphire Salon in Pittson. As the morning moved along you could feel the excitement leading up to Elena and Jonathan’s first look. They chose to enjoy their private first look down by the riverfront in West Pittston where the couple shared their handwritten personal vows with each other. We then headed to the beautiful Saint Anthony’s Church for their traditional wedding ceremony.
McDade Park was the site that they chose for their wedding party and bride and groom photos. We even hiked up a massive set of stairs to get an epic hilltop shot of everyone! (Jonathon also showed us his killer ninja skills – watch their wedding video… It was hysterical!)
We finished up their day at their travel themed wedding reception at Via Appia. They had first class tickets for all the guest’s seats and a map of the word for the table numbers. They danced, partied, dined on amazing food, and had the best cake toppers ever! Quick scroll down to see what we mean.
Anywho… Congrats you two!

What… an… awesome… day.
It was such a well planned fast paced day, yet there was so much time for the KJAD photo team to think creatively and be super artsy with one of steve’s new lenses, try different ideas for places we’ve been before, shoot in some new awesome locations, capture so many different details, and still have time to photograph joy and matt enjoying their best day ever. (check out the cake topper… it’s for real the best day ever!) Congrats to Joy and Matt and thanks for having us be a part of such an action packed day!!

Megan and Josh kept up with the awesome location theme from their engagement session, and decided to have their wedding at the Glen Summit Chapel & Casino and the chose the Kirby House Japanese Gardens as their backdrop for their wedding photos. Such great locations for them to be able to make it their own and have a blast doing it.
Along with photography, we were asked to help them out with our wedding coordination services. Our team of Bridget and Lauren were able to help organize all of their moving parts into one understandable timeline… although, Megan was super helpful too! We love detail oriented brides. : )
A unique element of their day was the Chapel wedding they had on the grounds of the Glen Summit Casino. Our Coordination team was able to plan their wedding ceremony and conduct their rehearsal the night prior. But enough about us… Their day was filled with SO many funny and heartfelt moments. Like sooooo many. Their groomsmen have been through each others’ weddings and have pretty much perfected the art of being a “good” groomsman. It’s been awesome to see such great friends be a part of such important days for each other. And it’s been great to see what antics they will come up with each time.
Anywho… we hope you enjoy their wedding photos. Stay tuned… you just might see these fellas’ faces again soon.

Remember how we hiked all over Ricketts Glen with Briann and Pat?… Well yeah, there was none of that here on their wedding day… thank goodness! Although, if you need a way to quickly become close with new friends, may we suggest you get out those hiking boots (or for us, our chucks and vans did the trick… barely), and head into the woods.
Fast forward to their wedding day… It couldn’t have been any better. The sun was shining and there was plenty of beautiful blue skies. So we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and shot their wedding party photos at Harvey’s Lake and the River Commons in downtown Wilkes-Barre. One of our favorite shots was our groom and groomsmen’s homage to the Beastie Boys. We definitely had our fair share of hysterical moments with their wedding party… ask them about the gummy bears they pulled out at the end of the night. Good times, good times.
On the other hand, their ceremony was so conducted by one of Pat’s family friends. Giving it a personalized and heartfelt touch. Overall their wedding, while beautiful and romantic, was an absolute blast. Their friends and family definitely enjoyed the day. Dance battles, gummy bears and cotton candy, a great band, crazy fun Harvey’s Lake dock photos, and so much more. We hope you enjoy their photos as much as our team enjoyed their wedding day. Stay tuned for their wedding video. Fun fun fun.

We, (Bridget & Steve) have known Lindsey since she was about this big (cue hand gesture that shows she was much shorter she was). In a long-story-short sort of way, Bridget started dancing with her around that time, and now she and a handful of other great dancers (and friends), are part of a dance group called Without Walls. They choreograph their own pieces and make some pretty amazing dances.
Anyway, the point of this, is that it is so great to see her marry such a great guy. Danny and Lindsey are as good as it gets. And with that comes great friends and great families. Coincidentally, both of their toasts were given by their siblings. Lindsey’s brother and three sisters gave such a heartfelt and awesomely funny tag team speech. From what we hear, they are quite the package deal. (which BTW, is pretty cool…. wait till you see their wedding video!) Danny’s brother and best man, Kevin, followed up the Reichard quartet with his best man speech that absolutely killed it! Not a dry eye in the house. Attaboy, Kevin.
And moving on… Their day was filled with so many unique “Lindsey and Danny” elements, that without question, was exactly them. Gifts for each other during their private stunning first look, custom bridal bouquet made by Regular Frills (Bridget’s company), a sweet and romantic ceremony, picturesque scenery, great toasts, great food, great dancing, and best of all… milk and cookies. Such the perfect way to top off their perfect wedding day.
Ok, I’m done writing… I want milk and cookies. You should run and get some milk and cookies and then look through their photos. K go.

Holy lots of photos, batman. Nikki and Mike are back at it again with another installment of awesomeness. This time they decided to lose the rides and coney island dogs, and replace them with the stunning Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel and a super yummy wedding cake. For this wedding Knot Just Any Day took care of photography, videography, wedding coordination and some custom stationery/signage. Being able to help plan, organize, and execute their day made everything run so smoothly. Our coordination team of Bridget and Lauren worked with their vendors, picked favors, organized their timeline, assisted at their rehearsal, and worked seamlessly with the Radisson’s on-site team, for their big wedding day. Helping them get all of their ducks in a row, made their day run on time and without any stress.
Nikki and Mike’s wedding day was classy, sweet, and full of so many exciting emotions. One specific darling moment was getting to hear them say their handwritten vows to each other … which made all of us tear up instantly (thankfully we have our cameras to hide behind!!) Or getting to see Nikki’s reaction to hearing that her father recorded himself singing their father daughter dance song. He even took vocal lessons… too much!! But on the flip side of those cherished, heart-string-pulling moments, was the constant uproar of laughter and cheers from everyone. I mean, whose dad kills it on the dance floor, for the song “Turn Down for What?!” Mr. Nulton… that’s who.
