Joyce Akiko + Steven

Joyce Akiko and Steven had the sweetest wedding at The Radisson Lackawanna Station in Scranton surrounded by their closest family and friends. Steven vowed to always hold Akiko’s hand when she feels sad (even if there’s a dirty tissue in it) and Akiko vowed to keep Steven happy even when he’s cruising in the passing lane.. going the speed limit.. for ten minutes straight. After their heartfelt ceremony, the couple recessed outside for pictures accompanied by Gobbledigook by Sigur Ros. Their reception was filled with music from Steven’s own DJ equipment, a tearjerking father-daughter dance, a polish song called Sto Lat that wished the couple a hundred years of happiness, and all of the laughter. The newlyweds got to sneak away to the lobby for some time to themselves (and us, of course) where we all decided to quickly move some furniture around to create a quick photo shoot. They got to just be themselves and even got to do some posing of their own design. We can’t get enough of those photos and how sweet Akiko and Steven are! We hope you enjoy a glimpse into their special day as much as we enjoyed capturing it!

Congrats to the happy couple!!

Stanks got a Berger! What an elegant, charming, smiling ear to ear kind of day. We spent our time before the reception wandering around the trains in Downtown Scranton and exploring Steamtown. We could hang out at the train station all day, and we can’t seem to stop gawking at the photos by the tracks either. Krissy and Dave held their reception at The Hilton a skip away from the railways. Dave, his father, and brother started the celebration with the ceremonial breaking of the bread. It wasn’t long after that until everyone hit the dance floor. Believe us when we tell you, Krissy and Dave’s family and friends can bust a move! We caught an epic dance off; maybe even a few others. However, we have to give the dance title to Krissy’s dad, who perfectly executed the fine art of getting ‘a little bit softer now’. We hope you enjoy this glimpse of their special day! Congrats to the newlyweds!!

Another beautiful day in Scranton; our home away from home! Usually our parents pass down wedding accessories or attire to us, but this time Teresa’s parents passed down the church in which they got married. Both couples walked down the same aisle at Holy Cross Church. They even have a photo for proof down below. So cool! After the ceremony we got to sneak in a couple of gorgeous shots at Lake Scranton before the most romantic of light drizzles started to fall. We absolutely adore the photo of the newlyweds underneath their umbrella on Downtown Scranton’s Square. Turns out the happy couple also have some fancy footwork skills and surprised us all with a beautiful first dance (that dip!). Here’s a peek into their special day.

Who needs rain on their wedding day when you’ve got the Luck ‘o’ the Irish? Or should we say #luckofthecaseys.. We spent St. Paddy’s Day this year at The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel to celebrate Megan and Kieran’s big day. Everywhere we looked there was an elegant pop of that lucky green. Megan even rocked the coolest green velvet shoes with her stunning dress. We can’t speak for the grass or trees though; it was a bit chilly and snow covered when we made a pit stop at McDade Park, but beautiful nonetheless. Luckily for us, the sun was out while we captured and celebrated the wedding of Megan and Kieran.  Sláinte!
