The Barn At Glistening Pond | Pennsylvania Summer Wedding

Each of us here at Knot Just Any Day consider ourselves “archivists” at our core. Whether we arrive at your wedding as photographers, videographers, or both we look to capture, document, and preserve the entire day timelessly with the utmost respect and care. Not only is this our guiding principle, but it pushes us to get better, it motivates us as artists and storytellers, and it grants us the privilege of great relationships with all of our wedding couples. Our first meeting with Ilissa and St. John always sticks out as a prime example of that immediate “click” when they approached us about their summer wedding at the Barn at Glistening Pond.

Sitting down with them for the first time it was apparent how dedicated they were to everything in their lives and each other. These two hardworking movie lovers with an appreciation for family, faith, and friends expressed all the things important to them, from where they had their first date to the elements they were planning for their wedding day. After a great conversation at our studio, they booked us as their Wedding Photographer and Wedding Videographer for their summer wedding at The Church of St. Gregory in Clarks Summit, PA, and The Barn at Glistening Pond in Falls, PA.

Their wedding day was truly “them” to its absolute core. The moments at their respective bride and groom preps were delicate, raw, and emotional. Followed by a service rooted in faith that though they were surrounded by their loved ones, they still found the intimate moments to share a loving stare or crack an adoring smile. Their time together afterward was loving and romantic, and after all the formalities were said and done, the party was BUMPIN’.

Sydney and Bryan chose to celebrate their big day at the always incredible Barn at Glistening Pond. There always seems to be something new whenever we get to visit the barn. DJ, the owner, is the handiest, and really outdid himself with latest addition of the spacious, new bridal prep room. A few robed, cloned Bryans showed up for bride prep, too. They even made an appearance later on during the reception to join everyone on the dance floor. Sydney and Bryan had State College’s “most popular band”, My Zero Hero, perform for their reception, and all of their guests went wild! It was an epic concert/ dance party/ sing-a-long/ celebration all in one!!

Another amazing wedding at none other than The Barn at Glistening Pond! We fall a little more in love with this venue every time we visit. This time we got to celebrate Lyndsey and Alex’s big day complete with fire blowing from The Jeffrey James Band, a Tom Petty appearance, and the sweetest no-look first look! Right before their ‘I do’s’, Lyndsey and Alex stood on opposite sides of the ceremony barn’s gorgeous sliding doors to hear each other’s voices. Quiet, intimate moments like this are always a great way to slow down and take your special day in before entering full-blown celebration mode (and a great way to watch the KJAD crew’s eyes swell up a bit if you’re looking for a good laugh). What a blast we had at Sara and Ryan’s wedding!! We spent the day in Elizabethtown at the Historic Acres of Hershey. It was our first time at this venue, and we fell in love at first sight. There are so many fun, rustic spaces to explore on the grounds from the mid-19th century barn to the open pavilion and everything in between. Sara and Ryan decided to have their first look in front of the farmhouse with all of their closest loved ones watching from the porch. After a night full of sentimental speeches and epic dance moves, we ended the day with a sparkler send off. We hope you enjoy this peek into their special day! Congrats, Sara and Ryan!!

We had such a blast enjoying so many laughs with Renee and Kristopher on their wedding day. The held their ceremony on The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort’s lawn with a stunning view of the mighty Delaware River. The KJAD Crew came in hot for Jackie and Dave’s wedding; 2 photographers, 2 coordinators, 1 intern, and all of our sweat. It was beyond muggy, but luckily the rain cleared up and held off for most of the day. We love coordinating and planning weddings so much, not only because it gives us an opportunity to really get to know amazing people like Jackie and Dave, but it allows us to help make wedding day dreams come true. The couple celebrated their love at one of our favorite venues, The Barn at Glistening Pond. They also chose the world’s best ring bearer ever. He ran faster than The Flash, showed the most support anyone has ever seen at a wedding via thumbs-ups and fist bumps, and most importantly kept the rings safer than safe.. even after they tried to run away on him. We got to hang out with some other cool people that day, too. Dan from Park Multimedia captured the day on video, Robb Brown provided beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music, DJ Kenton of MCR Productions kept everyone dancing during the reception, and it’s always a pleasure to work with the Constantino’s Crew. Jackie and Dave had a such a heart warming wedding celebration, and we hope this look into their day puts a smile on your face, too.

We were so amped up for Keri and Derek’s big day after the trek we took with them during their engagement session. The couple decided to tie the knot at an amazing venue we hold dear to hearts here at KJAD. The Barn at Glistening Pond in Falls, Pennsylvania always provides such a rustic, romantic atmosphere. Responsible for that atmosphere are the owners, DJ and Denise, who go way further than above and beyond to ensure that everything runs perfectly (they’re some of the sweetest people ever, too). Keri and Derek held their ceremony inside the newest addition to the venue; an intimate building neighboring the barn that has an epic waterfall inside! After the sweetest of ceremonies and the most romantic first dance, the newlyweds started the party off with a round of The Shoe Game. Speaking of sweet, or should we say lack there of, Keri and Derek managed to shut down  a local favorite ice cream shop that she used to work at. Yeah, Curly Cream Crew! They were a blast!! The happy couple are such easy-going, sweet people that they made it so effortless for everyone to just slow down, be together, celebrate love, and remember what’s important… friends, family, experiences, and caring for one another. Oh, and epic sunset photos! The sky may not have given us a crazy sunset that night, but it was so impressivley moody.
