What an epic wedding day!! Mandi and Shaun chose to celebrate their special day on May 4th, and the force was definitely with them! From the Star Wars watch Mandi gifted to Shaun to their three pound white chocolate cake topper straight from Disney, the couple’s personalities shone through in every little detail. We even noticed a trail of glitter from the start of the day all the way to Constantino’s where the reception was held. Our favorite part of the day, other than seeing Mandi and Sean get married, had to be running from the Luzerne County Courthouse and over the Market Street Bridge to Kirby Park to snap some amazing shots of the newlyweds in their horse pulled carriage… that counts as a 5k, right!? We also can’t forget about Mandi’s sister’s speech that caught all of us off guard when a doorbell began to ring introducing a Domino’s Delivery Driver. It turns out that Shaun likes to order Domino’s.. often, so Mandi’s sister thought it would be the perfect gift for Shaun on his wedding day! Gotta love sister-in-laws! Speaking of in-laws, we couldn’t have said it better than Mandi’s new brother-in-law, Billy, in wishing the happy couple…

P. S. Mandi would like everyone to know (especially you, Billy) that she did, in fact, finish her drink during her and Shaun’s reveal party at our studio!

Geralyn and Lee had the most romantic, October wedding day without any rain!! We were ecstatic to be able to find some breathtaking, sunlit nooks and crannies between the green on Fox Hill’s golf course. We think Geralyn was even more excited to be able to drive the golf cart though. What better way to show your love than by letting your bride steer the cart while you step on the gas!? From Geralyn’s sweet prep shots to the smile on Lee’s face after saying ‘I Do’, we just can’t stop reminiscing over their special day! You’ll see what we mean..
Cheers to the newlyweds!!

Ain’t no party like a Haywood Party, ‘cuz everyone really knows how to break it down! Holy moly! After hanging out in Philadelphia with Maggie and Craig for their engagement shoot last year, we knew their wedding day was going to be epic, and epic it was!! Our favorite part of the day was getting to see these two amazing people tie the knot, hands down. However, it’s followed closely by everyone getting down with it on the dance floor at the newlyweds’ fun-filled Westmoreland Club reception! We still can’t get over Craig’s reaction to seeing Maggie walking down the aisle, nor do we ever want to. So sweet!! We hope you enjoy this peek into their big day! Congrats to the Haywood’s!!!

Carlena and Kyle are much more than high school sweet hearts. They take it to the next level with the title of middle school sweet hearts. They also make it very clear, so much that their friends and family can see it, that they are simply meant to be together. That confidence you feel when you ‘just know’ is beyond any words in any dictionary; something to cherish for a lifetime. We got to celebrate their larger than life love at Constantino’s gorgeous venue in Clarks Summit. The bride and her dad choreographed the coolest father daughter dance followed by much more fancy footwork on the dance floor. After breaking it down, their guests got to part with a super sweet Italian Wedding Tradition; five candy coated almonds. The almonds are coated in candy with hopes that couple’s married life will be more sweet than bitter. Each of the five almonds represents a wish for the newlyweds; longevity, heath, wealth, happiness, and fertility. We love seeing couples incorporate different traditions into their big day. Congrats, Carlena and Kyle!

It’s been said that you can see a bride glow on her wedding day. Maybe the glow comes from all of the excitement, perhaps the wedding rings, or possibly a beautiful bouquet. However, most people think it comes when the bride puts on her perfect wedding dress. Ashleigh and her dress by Hayley Paige were such a perfect match that they both made each other glow. There was one greater match on July 7th though, and that match is, of course, Ashleigh and John. They had the most gorgeous of wedding days at Friedman Farms in Dallas, PA. From the sweetest father-daughter dance to the sweetest cupcake display by The Sweet Lush Cupcakery (like always), we had such a blast celebrating the newlyweds!! Congrats, Ashleigh and John!

It may have been the hottest day of the year, but that didn’t stop Charlene and Jon from having the most amazing day ever. When the day starts off with a Risky Business-esque dance party, you know it’s going to be an epic one. We spent our time celebrating the bride and groom wandering around Penn State’s Wilkes-Barre Campus before the dancing, singing, and cake cutting. Be sure to check out their cake topper! We think it takes the.. cake! Congrats to the happy couple!

We don’t know who was more excited for Julianna and Cody’s wedding day.. Just kidding, it was Julianna.. most definitely Julianna. If everyone got as excited about what they love as Julianna does, the world would be much sweeter than it already is. Her cake cutting smile makes us want to dance. Speaking of cakes; the newlyweds got to cut not just one epic cake, but two! While most people have after parties, Cody and Julianna had a before-party (or should we call it a pre-party? yes, we like that much more) in her aunt’s beautiful back yard where cake number one happened. A lot of laughter happened, too, after a certain couple attempted to eat some thought-to-be-edible-but-not-so-edible floral cake decor. The couple did a bit better with cake number two from the talented artists at Minooka Pastry Shop when it came to not eating the flowers. What a beautiful wedding day! Congrats to the happy couple from all of us at KJAD!
