Jessie and Bill celebrated their elegant wedding at The Westmoreland Club in downtown Wilkes-Barre. We always love finding our way into the nooks and crannies of the historic club building to get the most breathtaking shots with the bride and groom. We really enjoyed watching the groom get to ‘bowl down’ the wedding party before a night full of dancing and sparklers. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Adrienne and Josh go above and beyond to share their love for each other. From their family to their friends to all of the little details, nothing but thoughtfully tear-jerking surprises and the most humble care shone through on their wedding day. First, Adrienne’s mom surprised us all with a live polka duo upon arriving to her house after the salon in the morning. Adrienne surprised her step-daughter with a necklace that says, “Addisyn, today I tell your dad ‘I do’, and I promise to love you forever, too.” However, we think DJ Thomas Nat (who happens to be Adrienne’s uncle… surprise!) takes the cake. Before the wedding, DJ Nat had Adrienne record a special message for her dad and vice versa. The messages played during a photo slideshow that Uncle Thomas made for the bride and her father to watch right before their dance. Yes, tears. We still can’t stop smiling about their day, and we hope a glimpse into their day has you doing the same.

We love being a part of the whole wedding journey with every couple, especially when we get to start with their engagement photos. After spending the day in Jim Thorpe with Ben and Stacey for their engagement session, we were excited to spend their big day at Constantino’s in Clarks Summit. Constantino’s is a unique venue that offers a place to prep for the day, a ceremony location, and a reception room. We’re used to seeing ceremonies held outside here, but since it was raining (which we heard is good luck!) Stacey and Ben were able to tie the knot inside at the venue before dancing the night away. We hope you enjoy this look into their day!

“Connor, Danielle, and that train are now one in love.”- The One and Only Father Paisley
and WHOA, ‘that train’, is right! Watching it flow behind Danielle as she walked down the aisle and then beautifully flood close to the entire alter was jaw-droppingly incredible. We were just as blown away after we helped her lace up the trail into her dress for wedding reception mode. Two dresses in one; so cool! Connor and Danielle’s wedding day was filled with so much family, friends, laughter, dancing, and… rain. It poured the entire time everyone was getting ready for the day. The amazing pipe and drum duo that played before and after the ceremony were donning their best rain gear, and there was an intense mist that lasted throughout the reception. Lucky for us, the sky calmed down just long enough for the most stunning shots of the newlyweds out over the water at Split Rock. However, as Connor’s sister shared during her speech, rain really is lucky on your wedding because when a knotted rope gets wet it becomes more difficult to untie. So, by ‘tying the knot’ on a rainy day, you create the strongest bond. Which is exactly what Connor and Danielle did! We hope you enjoy their photos as much as we do!

And the Two Shall Become One… The ecstatic newlyweds, Jenelle and Michael, had such a magical wedding day. They first met each other while doing theater (#bowstovows), so their day was filled with picturesque landscapes, close friends with beautiful singing voices, and the biggest smiles ever. Our smiles were stretched from ear to ear, too, especially after their first look. When Jenelle tip toed up and tapped Michael on the back, she literally knocked the air out of him. It melted our hearts! Then, as if they weren’t already as close as they could possibly be after tying the knot, they got tangled up in all of the streamers that their guests popped at them during their recessional which made us melt even more. We hope you feel the same after a glimpse into their day.

Erin and Josh. What. A. Party. Yes, their wedding day was epic enough for single word sentence fragments. There was karaoke, a donut tower, dancing, dancing, and more dancing. Better yet, Erin decorated most of the venue and even scored her drop dead gorgeous dress as a thrift find. Their big day was held at Shadyrill Farm in Dallas for the venue’s featured spring wedding. The barn has a beautiful, rustic atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home, and all of the room to break out some fancy footwork. We can’t get over how incredibly the bride and groom’s photos came out, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Congrats to Erin and Josh from all of us at KJAD!

Another beautiful day in Scranton; our home away from home! Usually our parents pass down wedding accessories or attire to us, but this time Teresa’s parents passed down the church in which they got married. Both couples walked down the same aisle at Holy Cross Church. They even have a photo for proof down below. So cool! After the ceremony we got to sneak in a couple of gorgeous shots at Lake Scranton before the most romantic of light drizzles started to fall. We absolutely adore the photo of the newlyweds underneath their umbrella on Downtown Scranton’s Square. Turns out the happy couple also have some fancy footwork skills and surprised us all with a beautiful first dance (that dip!). Here’s a peek into their special day.

KJAD wedding road trip!! Yay! This time we got to head a bit south to celebrate Lauren and Eric’s big day at The Phoenixville Foundry outside of Philadelphia. Finally! We’ve been waiting to shoot a wedding here ever since attending the workshop offered by The Hoffshop at The Foundry. What an amazing venue! Thanks, Lauren and Eric!! We were especially excited for their big day after being a part of their summer engagement shoot last year in Hoboken, New Jersey. It was super cool to see them incorporate our photos into their wedding decor. Congrats to the beautiful bride and dapper husband! Enjoy!
