The Lands at Hillside Farms may be one of our favorite places locally. They have such great ice cream, beautiful scenery, fun barnyard animals, and llamas too! Plus they also have a beautiful farm cottage located up on the hill, just next to the farm land. And fortunately, for Cassandra and Chris, the cottage transforms into the perfect rustic, chic wedding venue. The two of them were able to get prepped on site in the second floor of the cottage, have their wedding overlooking a wide open field, and then have their reception nestled just a bit further up the hill. Once their ceremony was over, we were able to walk around the grounds of Hillside Farms, snap a few shots of their bridal party, the happy bride and groom, and even get get our hands on some delicious ice cream.
Chris and Cassandra also hired us as their videographers for there wedding day. Once you get through their stunning photos, take a peek at their wedding video.
Little side note: Hillside Farms is not booking weddings for the 2015 season as they are currently making updates to the historic building and grounds, but we are sure they would love to have you make their home a part of your 2016 wedding. So you can inquire about more information by reaching out to them here.

I’m pretty sure i need to preface this with – if you don’t know what LARPing is, go and google it, read up, and then head back here and be super impressed with this awesome wedding for Leslie and Mark. Everyone who attended this wedding completely decked out in the appropriate attire except for yours truly… turns out, I didn’t get the memo. I’m pretty sure though if I did, my cape would have interfered with shooting, but it would have been awesome for a few minutes to not be the fish out of water. : )
Anywho, their day was filled with so many details, all crafted by Leslie and her wonderful family. (here is a link to leslie’s behind the scenes wedding blog) Check out their amazing day below.

Recent King’s College Alumni, Tina and Don were wed at the King’s College Chapel on a beautiful spring day. Their wedding day, although very emotional, was such a blast. We had a great time getting to spend it with them and their friends and family. We hope you enjoy their photos as much as we do.

Courtney and Jeromy… what a duo! Their friends and family love the beans out of them and it totally showed. Every part of their wedding day was packed with humor, love, tears (#dadsacrier) and quite the bit of fun. From their exciting accordion player (that serenaded Courtney and her bridesmaids), and their minister (that had us all in stitches during their ceremony), to the most beautiful sunset and amazing speeches (Courtney’s sister Danielle nailed it!!), this day was one to remember. Hope you enjoy their photos as much as we did their day.

We just love rustic barn weddings. Especially when they are filled with so many beautiful details and yummy treats. Sarah and Shawn’s wedding and reception was held at Friedman Farms, in Dallas, PA. The Farm offers the option for a wedding ceremony in the barn’s loft, and a stunning reception held within the barn’s main room. All of the decor was handled by the bride and groom’s friends and family, and the killer Day of the Dead Cake and other treats were made with love by Shawn’s sister, Nicole. Turns out, the treats taste just as awesome as they look! (pretty sure Steve had one of each)

What a great way to start off the 2014 wedding season. We were able to spend it with Jenn and Eric at the beautiful Skytop Lodge, in Skytop, PA. With the exception of a few raindrops, the day was just absolutely wonderful. And, it turns out, there isn’t a bad place to take photos at Skytop. Everywhere you turn has another unique beautiful setting. So, with that being said, we hope you enjoy a glimpse of Jenn and Eric’s wedding day… oh and check out her father’s amazing classic car. (it even matches KJAD’s colors!!)

Our good friends, Jane and Mark, were married in downtown Wilkes-Barre at the classic Westmoreland Club. Their wedding day flew by in a flash, most likely because it was filled with so many enjoyable moments. From their sentimental and cheerful ceremony to some of the best dancing we’ve seen at a wedding, period… this day was absolutely “knot just any day.” And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Mark decides to hop up on stage with the band Deja Groove, and just kills it on guitar. Too much… way too much fun.
