We’ve bumped into Kim and Joe at weddings in the past when we were all behind cameras, but this time we got to see them tie their very own knot!! What an honor it is to be able to shoot someone’s best day ever who you’ve also had the pleasure of working with! We celebrated their wedding day at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe right after the autumn equinox, so the weather was perfect. It was so perfect, in fact, that we even got to play around with Kim and Joe’s idea of using smoke bombs for their newlywed photos. So cool! We loved all of the details that the happy couple incorporated into their day; the traditional Celtic tying of the knot, the traditional Filipino veil and cord, the undercover superhero grooms, and seeing Kim and Joe bust into their reception with their cameras in hand! A giant congratulations to the newlyweds, and we hope you all enjoy this peek into their day!!

What a blast we had at Sara and Ryan’s wedding!! We spent the day in Elizabethtown at the Historic Acres of Hershey. It was our first time at this venue, and we fell in love at first sight. There are so many fun, rustic spaces to explore on the grounds from the mid-19th century barn to the open pavilion and everything in between. Sara and Ryan decided to have their first look in front of the farmhouse with all of their closest loved ones watching from the porch. After a night full of sentimental speeches and epic dance moves, we ended the day with a sparkler send off. We hope you enjoy this peek into their special day! Congrats, Sara and Ryan!!

Lauren and Dustin had the sweetest wedding at Sand Springs in Drums. FUN FACT: Lauren happens to be related to a dear member of our very own KJAD Crew!! SPOILER ALERT: It’s Ryan!! He even had the important role of Best Man at his sister’s wedding. Aside from watching his sister marry the man of her dreams, Ryan’s favorite part of the day was “having all of their loved ones from across different facets of their lives come together under one roof to celebrate and be together for the day.” I think he speaks for all of us in saying how special it is to watch so much love come to life in one room. A GIANT kudos to Lauren and Ryan’s mom for putting together all of the awesome decor, and an ever BIGGER congrats to the newlyweds!! Enjoy this look into their incredible day!

Nothing says ‘best fiancé ever’ like building your bride-to-be the wedding day archway of her dreams. Go Frank!! Erica and Frank celebrated their big day at the scenic Montdale Country Club. While the venue hosts stunning views and luscious greenery, Erica wanted a romantic archway filled with blooming florals at their ceremony. Frank found the perfect solution by hand crafting their very own, personalized archway to recite their vows under, and the rest is history! We hope you enjoy this peek into their day!! Congrats, Erica and Frank!!!

Elisa and Alexander’s romantic wedding day far surpassed any definition of heart felt elegance that we know. Skytop Lodge, the historical venue the couple chose for their big day, hosts endless breathtaking views and stunning backdrops. Speaking of stunning… Elisa in her dress by Eve of Milady.. we cannot get over it, nor do we want to. There were a lot of wedding day butterflies and fun anticipation in the beginning of the day, but as soon as Elisa and Alex saw each other during their first look a wave of ‘everything is right in the world’ crashed over everyone. All of us at the KJAD studio get emotional every single time we watch that scene. Check it out below along with a glimpse into the rest of their day!! Congrats to the newlyweds!!

“There may be motorcycles, there will be cigars, …” Lisa and Joel makes us smile so hard. They celebrated their love for each other at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn, surrounded by spectacular views. The literally tied the knot at the Crestview Chapel at Ridgecrest, one of Stroudsmoor’s many ceremony locations on their grounds. It was also the first time we’ve ever seen hand cuffs incorporated into a wedding, and we think Lisa was pretty surprised, too. Lisa and Joel are one of those couples that you could tell are meant for each other by just being in their presence. We could tell that from the moment we met them for their engagement session. We hope you enjoy this look into their special day. Congrats to the newlyweds!

We had such a blast enjoying so many laughs with Renee and Kristopher on their wedding day. The held their ceremony on The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort’s lawn with a stunning view of the mighty Delaware River. The party continued on inside the venue’s elegant Worthington Ballroom where everyone seemed to find an epic party hat to dance the night away in. We hope you enjoy this look into their special day!

Nobody loves as hard as Dawn and John do. We were so happy to be a part of every special moment on their big day. Although each carefully planned out detail was breath-taking, the happy couple showed everyone throughout the day that most important things are their friends, family, and all of the love they have for each other. Dawn and John had one of the sweetest No Look First Looks in Montdale Country Club’s gazebo. They invited their closest friends and family to join them under the gazebo while Dawn’s son and brother shared a prayer before the ceremony. Then, to start the ceremony at the country club’s stunning grove, Dawn’s maid of honor handed John a note asking him to pay attention to the song that Dawn will be walking down the aisle to. John’s reaction to seeing Dawn at the top of the aisle and hearing her voice singing is everything. The newlyweds make it clear how important it is to appreciate what you have, love with all you’ve got, and always have a good time.
Congrats, John and Dawn!
