Christmas trees, pumpkins, corn mazes, goats that have their own playground, and apple cidar?!?… sounds like the making of a very great engagement session! And it most definitely was… with the exception of Steve getting mildly lost in the giagantic corn maze (just for a second or two) at Roba Family Farms . It was so much fun getting to be a part of their wedding experience. From their engagement session through their wedding day, we were there taking lots and lots of photos of these two fun kids. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. We can’t wait for fall and the holiday season. Summer should take he hint and get movin’ on. : )

We just love traveling to fun locations for our engagement sessions. #havecameraswilltravel… and being able to shoot in spots that we normally wouldn’t get a chance to for weddings, is super exciting for all of us. Especially when it’s the Philadelphia Museum of Art and downtown Philly/Love Park. Nicole, Peter and their dog, Winston, had a gorgeous day for their shoot. Although I think that all of the walking around may have been too much for Winston… he toughed it out nicely. : )
P.S. check out Nicole’s rocky pose, and more importantly, the photo bombing grandpa in the background on the next shot. #thatjusthappened. Ok, now i am going to have to watch ROCKY again. Later!

Coney freakin’ Island. Boom!! What now engagement sessions?!?
Can you tell how excited we still are about getting to shoot here? We were so happy when Nikki and Mike asked us to meet them at the colorful Coney Island. And we were even more excited when they were totally cool with getting on a few rides with us!! (Just don’t look down when you are on the big swings.) This may be one of the coolest locations for an engagement session… with so much to do, from playing carnival games and riding the rides, to hanging out on the boardwalk and beach.
So if you think you are interested in an engagement session with us, don’t forget that we like fun places too. #havecameraswilltravel
We spent so much time running all over Coney Island and the pier taking so many great shots (*fun fact – they filmed a part of Requiem for a Dream on this pier) that we worked up quite an appetite. We didn’t stop over to Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, but landed ourselves in this awesome restaurant called Lock Yard… which just happened to have the BEST DOGS EVER. (sorry nathan’s) Seriously, stop what you are doing and head there now. They even have vegetarian dog options… ©Amanda Dittmar approved.
Anyway back to this wonderful couple. Nikki and Mike just nailed it that day. We always say, it’s so nice to photograph people who truly care about each other… and they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Need more of these two crazy kids?!.. check out there wedding day here
