It’s always fun getting to shoot in New York City, but it’s super rad when NYC poses for a photo. With The Big Apple as our backdrop, we spent the day with Lauren and Eric on The Hudson River Walkway. This time our lovely couple had home court advantage, so we got to see exactly where Eric proposed. The shot of their silhouette amidst the trees is where she said YES! We’re so looking forward to going back to visit them for their wedding.

From the wedding party’s color pallatte to Mallory and Bill’s cake and everything in between, the whole day exuded elegance. Their day encompassed everything you could ever want in a gorgeously classic wedding. We are just so over the moon about all of their photos. We hope each ones brings a smile to your face just like they did for us.

Annarose and Mitch had so many wonderful personal little moments together on their wedding day, and it was incredible getting to be a part of each of them. From their quiet and emotional few minutes together before the ceremony, in which they prayed together, to their afternoon portrait session when they got a chance to laugh, look back on the day, and enjoy the company of each other – privately… well of course we were there too… but technically it was just the two of them.  : )

Plus, being that it was an afternoon reception, we got a chance to finally have brunch at a wedding. Eggs, french toast AAAND bacon!! Now THAT was the best… oh wait… well not best part of their day, but you know what we mean… Bacon. Mmmm. Enjoy!

 Ahhhh, the great outdoors. Alex’s family’s hunting cabin, to be exact. It was super relaxing to slow down and enjoy the fresh air and unwind with Alex and Justin for their engagement session. These two are so down to earth, and we could tell how at home they felt with each other. We are so beyond excited to ‘catch’ up with them on their wedding day!

Melissa and Aaron went all in with KJAD. We photographed their engagement session a while back, designed all of their stationery along the way, helped with coordinating their wedding and rehearsal, and then to top it all off we captured photo and video on the day of the wedding. Phew! And now we are at the point where we get to share their wedding blog and everything that went into making the day so amazing. It was so great getting to be a part of a Whitewoods wedding with Hillary and John. They held their wedding ceremony pond-side out in front of the beautiful guesthouse. We ran all over the grounds of the old camp ground and spent the night dancing away at the stunning campground-rec-hall-turned-wedding-venue (it’s decor is right out of a wedding blog). You want to know the best part about meeting super cool couples?… getting to meet their super cool dogs! We made so many new, furry friends this year. Yay! We spent the day with Kristen and Joe wandering around Wilkes University’s Campus. May days in downtown Wilkes-Barre are perfect for exploring every nook and cranny to find those cozy spots hidden away by the spring greenery.
